May 10, 2008 - ECDC vs. Force One Productions
On Friday, May 9, 2008, ENCORE! Cheer and Dance Championships, LLC, along with its owners filed, as the plaintiffs, in the Superior Court of Sussex County Delaware the case of ENCORE! Cheer and Dance Championships, LLC., et al vs. Force One Productions and it's president, Mr. Eric Massey. ECDC claim against Force One Productions and Mr. Eric Massey include unlawful entry into a residence, as filed with the Delmar Police Department and libel per se. Because the case is now in litagation, ECDC cannot release or discuss any further details regarding this case. Interested parties may refer to the Superior Court of Sussex County Delaware and the Delmar Police Department for public access information.

May 15, 2008 - ECDC Dancers, Tremor Force, Perform at Glen Burnie Spring Dance Show
For the second year in a row Tremor Force performed to a sold out audience at the Glen Burnie High School Dance show in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Tremor alma mater members Siedah Arrtis ('06) and Jasmine Jackson ('07), performed a four minute hip hop routine choroegraphed by Anique Oliver, Ashlin Price, Ashley and Alex Fleming ('08) and Nate Hunt ('09). Heather Whittaker ('11) also performed as a new member to Tremor Force. 2006-2007 season member Chelsey Pearce was unable to perform due to a previous commitment. Since their reunion at the 2008 ECDC Ultimate Battle Open Nationals and the GBHS show, requests for bookings have been incredible! Look for Tremor Force at other events soon.

The March 30, 2008 edition of the Delmarva Times featuered an article profiling our debut event - 2008 Open Nationals - The Ultimate Battle. ECDC Host Master Hip Hop Workshop in Philly and returns to Sponsors Dance Off at Eastern Shore AFRAM
ECDC traveled to Ms D's home town of Philadelphia to sponsor a youth hip hop dance workshop. Participants from ages 4 thorugh 14 danced with the "RAW" choreographers. Several coaches also participated in the workshop as well as a brief seminar with the ECDC staff regarding hip hop dance.
The choreographers and dancers returned back to the eastern shore the next day to participate in the Eastern Shore AFRAM event at Nutter's Park in Seaford Delaware. A huge hit wuth the AFRAM patrons, ECDC sponsored a dance off and awarded a $100 prize to one talented 10 year boy who is sure to be a upcoming talent in the hip hop arena.

August 3, 2008 - ECDC Welcomes Gloria Grant to the Competition Staff
ECDC welcomes Gloria Grant to the competition staff for the 2008-2009 season. Ms. Grant, a resident of Baltimore, Maryland will bring her valuable and extensive managerial experience as a competition staff manager and a member of the ECDC senior staff.
September 1, 2008 - ECDC Implements Healthy Food Menu at all Events
A first in the competition arena, ECDC will now have the final word on all food menus sales for its patrons. "It is very important that our athletes have access to healthy choices at all our events instead of the typical junk food typically served at competition events," states CEO and president Ms. D. ECDC will gaurantee fresh fruits and vegetable options at all events in addition to hearty fare of fun and fresh options.
November 11, 2008 - ECDC Welcomes Felicia Cunningham to the Competition Staff
ECDC welcomes Felicia Cunningham to the competition staff for the 2008-2009 season. Ms. Cunningham, a resident of Laurel, Maryland, has been hired as ECDC's spectator and vending concierge manager.
